Michigan- Started of the season 5-0 but then stumbled on the road vs Penn State in quadruple overtime and then again at Iowa near the end of the season. Michigan is definitely the underdog coming out of somewhat easier conference than Kansas State but still having 5 loses. Michigan lost 4 of their last 5 games and they are coming fresh off a one point loss vs Ohio State. Michigan has played in two overtime games with a total of 7 overtime periods, and I don’t know for sure but that has to be some kind of a record.

Kansas State- The Wildcats played in the Fiesta Bowl last year and lost by double digits to the Oregon Ducks, I think you could say that the Buffalo Wild Wings Bowl is a bit of a step down but whatever. K-State hasn’t won any type of a bowl game for over a decade so you must wonder if Bill Snyder is on the “hot seat’. The two times that K-State has been in the Bowl Battle Competition, Retro and Deuce have successfully picked against them, will Retro and Deuce extended their steak to 3 straight picks vs Kansas State of will the Wildcats break out of their slump?
