Friends – Down to 3 for the championship!
Today’s 3:00 Fiesta Bowl is the pivotal game in determining the first Friends Bowl Battle Champ.
A win by slightly favored Iowa St locks Jenny into at least a tie for the championship. Trey can leverage his Ohio St fueled comeback for a share of the title with wins by ISU + UNC today. ISU + A&M gives Jenny the solo title.
An Oregon win would hand the title to Mark, regardless of the results of the 7:00 Orange Bowl.
While those 3 dominate the standings in the final 4 scenarios, John is still alive for 3rd place if the two favorites (ISU + A&M) win today and would tie for 3rd with ISU + UNC wins. Joey will finish in a 3-way tie for 2nd if his Fiesta Bowl pick ISU loses and Mack Brown’s Tar Heels upset A&M.
