AC (is) The Winner!

Connie proved prophetic with her nickname this year as she won her 2nd Bowl Battle.

And, she once again bettered Vegas in selecting the underdog. In 2014, she teamed with Yan Yan to select Oregon over the favored Ohio State. This year, it was the underdog Georgia beating Alabama.

Connie joins Heather, Jenny, Lance & Rhett as two-time champions.

In other news.

  • Connie vaults into the Top 5 in overall (regular season) winning percentage at 60.0%.
  • Alexander & Ella also slide into the Top 5 overall winning percentage at 61.5% now that they have completed their 4th Bowl Battle (minimum seasons to quality).
  • The 61.5% actually ties Heather for 1st place overall.
  • Lance beat Noah & Rhett to the most wins overall (regular season), ending the year at 100, 99 & 96 wins respectively.

Connie vs Rhett in 2021 Championship

It was a battle for 2nd as Ella and Matt also posted records of 10 – 3. Rhett narrowly won the tiebreaker for low point differential in losses: Rhett 35 – Ella 38 – Matt 42.
