The grid 26 hours before deadline!

You have until 11:59pm CST tomorrow (Dec 19th) to change or resubmit your picks.

If you want to (over-)analyze your picks, below is the current grid with the 16 submissions (thus far) and our 16 bowl games.

  • Each Yellow Square is a pick for Vegas’s current underdog.
  • The Participants are sequenced by order of submission. The earliest submission is on the left.
  • Bowls are sequenced, top-down, by the number of underdog picks. That means there are 3 Bowl Games where only 2 people picked the dog and 2 Bowl Games (the bottom 2) where only 1 person picked the dog.

So what? Well, it’s really just a brain teaser for a couple folks to geek out. But, if you would like to roll the dice, you can try to guess which Bowl Games are at the bottom and flip your pick to the underdog.

Then there were … THREE ?!?

Yesterday’s entertaining Rose and Sugar Bowls game went down to the wire. They also brought us a Bowl Battle first … the need for a 2nd tiebreaker.

Congrats to Zufu. He played the role of the Washington Huskies and held on to his lead to finish with an 11 – 2 record. (Paden, your 12-win season in 2016 remains the record.)

Dr Drone and (defending champ) EmCrisp played the roles of Alabama and Michigan and tied during regulation. They both finished 10 – 3 records AND with an identical point differential of 38.

  • Dr Drone: OU -14, Iowa St – 10, Penn St – 13
  • EmCrisp: UCF – 13, UNC – 14, Iowa St – 10

So, we’re going to a coin flip. The Commish will coordinate a time for a virtual coin flip this week to decide who plays Zufu in the championship.

In the meantime, Zufu can be researching Michigan and Washington as he gets to pick his team.
