Family – Matt or Vivian to play Jenny in the Championship

We’re down to the final game. Jenny has locked in 1st place & her choice between Alabama & Ohio St in the Championship game.

An Orange Bowl win by UNC will give us a sibling showdown between Jenny and Matt.

If the favorite, Texas A&M, wins tonight, Vivian will represent the youngsters in the final against Jenny.

Family – Final Day Scenarios

Fast-paced and surprising first half of the Sugar Bowl with Ohio State up 35-14 over Clemson!

Assuming the Buckeyes hold serve for the win (96.9% probability), Paden is eliminated and we are down to 5 heading into tomorrow’s final games: Jenny, Matt, Vivian, Alexander & Pop.

Here is a preview of how tomorrow plays out listed by probability. The couple instances with ties will go to the tie-breaker rules.

If Clemson defies the odds and wins the Sugar Bowl, then Paden & the 5 others remain alive and I will provide an update Saturday morning.

Family – 3 games today!

Happy New Year to all and 21st to Noah!!!!

Jenny heads in 2021 with a one game lead. 6 have been eliminated from a top 2 slot: Channe/Kyler, Ella, Gabby, Heather, Lance & Rhett. Newcomers Channe/Kyler were dealt a unique mathematical ti-breaker elimination with a win in the Armed Forces Bowl because Tulsa lost by less than 3 points.

Today’s 3 back-to-back games will narrow down the current field of 9.

We’re at halftime of the 1st game with Cincinnati upsetting Georgia 14 -10. Here are the scenarios for the Peach Bowl results.

  • Cincy win: London joins Jenny in 1st. Papa eliminated. Vivian (4+ pt win) or Noah (<3 pt win) eliminated based on tie-breaker.
  • Georgia win: Jenny solo 1st. Birthday Boy eliminated. London (14+ pt win) or Papa (< 13 pt win) eliminated based on tie-breaker

Staying Alive!

After 3 games and 2 cancelations, all 15 teams are still in the running to make the championship game. We also have an unprecedented 9 way tie for first after the big 12 swept todays games. Going into the Cotton bowl, Heather, Rhett, Gabby, and the Channe & Kyler team are all on the hotseat. An OU win would officially eliminate Heather and a Florida win would eliminate Rhett, Gabby, and the Channe & Kyler team.

This is why Santa gave you the Comfy!

Of course 2020 would bring us two scheduling firsts: (a) no overlapping game times and (b) more than 3 consecutive days with at least 2 games/day.

So, stock up on your favorite beverage & snacks and keep that Comfy Blanket Sweatshirt & phone charger handy while you enjoy as much college football as your heart desires & bedsores will allow.
