After 3 games and 2 cancelations, all 15 teams are still in the running to make the championship game. We also have an unprecedented 9 way tie for first after the big 12 swept todays games. Going into the Cotton bowl, Heather, Rhett, Gabby, and the Channe & Kyler team are all on the hotseat. An OU win would officially eliminate Heather and a Florida win would eliminate Rhett, Gabby, and the Channe & Kyler team. 

Everyone in the Family Battle was just given a win for the Music City bowl. The game was cancelled today because of C19 issues at Missouri.

The impact to the Friends Battle is different as each game is weighted differently. A decision on that front will come Monday.

Of course 2020 would bring us two scheduling firsts: (a) no overlapping game times and (b) more than 3 consecutive days with at least 2 games/day.

Congrats to Pop & Noah (Family) and Jean (Friends) for taking the early lead as Liberty upset Coastal Carolina last night.

That was a fun game and crazy finish to kickoff the Bowl Battle season. We now have a couple days rest until OSU v Miami and Colorado v Texas on Tuesday.

2020 has brought us a 2nd Bowl Battle! In addition to the traditional Laubach family competition, we’re testing out a version that includes friends with entry fee/prize money and confidence value to each of the 13 picks. The Friends Battle is open to ALL.

LSU’s win over Clemson made Rhett our 3rd two-time Bowl Battle Champion.
