Jenny or Heather. We will have to use the tie-breaker rule for the first time this year.
If Auburn wins the BCS National Championship Game, Matt & Heather will finish with 9 wins. But, Heather will take it via tie-breaker.
If Florida State wins, 4 will finish with 8 victories: Heather, Matt, Jenny & Susie. The tie-breaker (see Rules page) means that only Heather or Jenny have a mathematical shot. See the Standings page for more details.
Heather takes the lead.
Halfway through the Jan 1st games, Heather remains undefeated and holds a one game lead over Jenny. On the other end, 6 are now out of the race with more likely to be eliminated by the end of the day. Check out the Standings page for the details. – Commish
Standings Update
After both favorites, Louisville and Kansas State, won, Da’Judge, Retro, Susie, NetNet, and Deuce have been eliminated from the possibility of the first ever Bowl Battle undefeated season. Everyone else is 2-0 with two more games on the 30th. The past two winners of Bowl Battle have started the season 1-1. Good luck to all and happy holidays.

Still Day One, Game Number Two!
Buffalo Wild Wings Bowl Preview
Bowl: Buffalo Wild Wings
Who: Michigan Wolverines (7-5) vs Kansas State Wildcats (7-5)
When: Friday, December 30th at 9:15 CST
Where: Tempe, Arizona
Line: Kansas State by 5.5 points
Over/Under: 54.5 points
Cheering for Michigan: Da’Judge, Jr. Commish (Soon to be known as “Deuce”), and Retro
Cheering for Kansas State: The rest of the field
Michigan- Started of the season 5-0 but then stumbled on the road vs Penn State in quadruple overtime and then again at Iowa near the end of the season. Michigan is definitely the underdog coming out of somewhat easier conference than Kansas State but still having 5 loses. Michigan lost 4 of their last 5 games and they are coming fresh off a one point loss vs Ohio State. Michigan has played in two overtime games with a total of 7 overtime periods, and I don’t know for sure but that has to be some kind of a record.
Kansas State- The Wildcats played in the Fiesta Bowl last year and lost by double digits to the Oregon Ducks, I think you could say that the Buffalo Wild Wings Bowl is a bit of a step down but whatever. K-State hasn’t won any type of a bowl game for over a decade so you must wonder if Bill Snyder is on the “hot seat’. The two times that K-State has been in the Bowl Battle Competition, Retro and Deuce have successfully picked against them, will Retro and Deuce extended their steak to 3 straight picks vs Kansas State of will the Wildcats break out of their slump? Tune into the Buffalo Wild Wings Bowl at 9:15 CST on December 30th to find out.
Bowl Game Number One!
Bowl Game Number One!
Russell Athletic Bowl Preview:
Bowl: Russell Athletic
Who: Miami Hurricanes (9-3) vs #18 Louisville Cardinals (11-1)
When: Friday, December 28th at 5:45 CST
Where: Orlando, Florida (Home field advantage??)
Line: Louisville by 4.5 points
Over/Under: 58.5 points
Cheering for Miami: Susie and NetNet
Cheering for Louisville: Everyone else
Miami- If Senior QB Stephan Morris can lead the 9-3 Miami Hurricanes to a victory over Louisville, NetNet and Susie will jump out to an early 1-0 while the rest of the field will be eliminated from a possible undefeated season. Miami is 1-1 vs ranked teams this season but one of the ranked opponents they faced finished 4-8. Miami, just like #1 overall ranked team in the national Florida State, plays in the ACC, one of the worst overall conferences for college football, and still managed to lose three games, at FSU, at Duke, and at home vs Virginia Tech. Miami will show if they can play with the big boys when they face Louisville in the Russell Athletic Bowl.
#18 Louisville- The Cardinals are led by a top NFL prospect, Junior, 6-3, 200 pound Quarterback, Teddy Bridgewater. Bridgewater has a 7:1 Touchdown to interception ratio this season and has thrown for over 3,500 passing yards. There will be a lot of booing from the Miami fans towards Bridgewater, not only because he is leading Louisville vs their team, but also because he was born and raised in Miami and originally committed to Miami before heading to Louisville. If Louisville wins, defending bowl battle champion Susie will be 0-1.

One streak will end this year. With no newbies in the field, there will not be a 3rd consecutive rookie to follow championships by Chris & Susie.
